When you need your authorised prescription please return your repeat slip by hand or post. We would ask that telephone requests for prescriptions are confined to the elderly infirm, or the housebound. Some local chemists provide a free collection service from the surgery. Please indicate if you require this service. Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be processed.

Results
Please telephone the surgery after 2pm for your Pathology/X-ray results and reports from the Hospital.

Urgent Calls
If you need a doctor urgently at any time please telephone 01248 370222 or 0845 850 1362

When the surgery is closed calls made to this number will be automatically transferred to NHS Direct (0845 850 1362) who provide a triage service to deal with your call.

Patients Obligations
Any patient who physically assaults any member of staff, or causes them fear for their safety in any way, will be removed from the patient list with immediate effect.

Confidentiality
Your medical records are held in the strictest confidence. The practice is computerised and registered under the Data Protection Act. It is a practice and legal requirement that all staff maintain confidentiality of patients’ records.

Access to your own records.
The Data Protection Act allows you access to your records. Please write to the Practice Manager if you would like to see these or have copies made. Please note that there is usually a charge for this.
